Anand Gandhi's Directorial Debut 'Ship Of Theseus' To Be Screened At TIFF

Acclaimed Indian filmmaker-playwright Anand Gandhi's much-talked-about debut feature film Ship of Theseus, has acquired the distinction of being screened at the globally renowned Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). The film will be screened in the 'City to City' section of the festival, which is about bringing international cities to Toronto audiences. The 2012 spotlight city at the prestigious event is going to be Mumbai.

The first screening of Ship of Theseus is scheduled for Thursday, September 6. The film is about three disparate people, a devout monk stricken by illness, a young woman who is given a second chance and a stockbroker who sets out to combat the illegal international trade in human organs, who are linked by an unknowing connection in the city of Mumbai.

The film, starring Aida El Kashef, Neeraj Kabi and Sohum Shah, is produced by Recyclewala Films.
