After Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh refused to play a supporting role to Aamir Khan in Rajkumar Hirani's film Peekay, the superstar suggested his nephew Imran Khan's name for the role.
So, this film will finally have the uncle-nephew team who have worked previously as producer-actor on films such as Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na and Delhi Belly, act alongside each other. Aamir is really excited about this film.
Director Rajkumar Hirani will be shooting the film, which goes on floors by year-end, in Hungary.
Apparently, Hirani chose that particular country as there are advantages such as low labour cost and tax incentives for foreign filmmakers.
Peekay, starring Aamir Khan, Imran Khan and Anushka Sharma and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, will be Hirani's next film after 3 Idiots, which turned out to be the highest-grossing-Hindi-film of all time.

Actor Ranveer Singh, who wowed everyone in his debut role as the bratty Bittoo in YRF flick Band Baajaa Baaraat and will be next seen in Lootera opposite Sonakshi Sinha, is apparently being considered for a role in Rajkumar Hirani's Peekay starring Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma.
It is being said that Peekay is a two-hero project and initially, the makers were quite keen to rope in Ranbir Kapoor to play the other hero. However, when the Barfi! boy declined the offer due to his reluctance to work in two hero projects, the makers thought that Ranveer Singh might be the perfect actor to be cast for the role.
If Singh chooses to accept the role, he will be teaming up once again with Anushka Sharma, who he has worked with in Band Baajaa Baaraat and Ladies vs Ricky Bahl.

Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan is all set to mark his Bollywood debut, however the seventeen-year-old won't be seen on the silver screen but behind the camera.
Junaid will assist Rajkumar Hirani on his next project Peekay, which stars his father Aamir Khan opposite Anushka Sharma.
Reportedly, it was Hirani who offered Khan junior to be his first assistant director in his maiden production venture. Sources reveal that Aamir's son has already started working on the project and is presently traveling across the country to scout locations for the movie.
Sure Junaid couldn't have asked for a better break.
