Poor Bipasha Basu, who was quite excited about travelling across the country to promote her upcoming supernatural thriller Raaz 3, had a bad experience recently when in Ahmedabad for a promotional tour.
Sources claim that a mob, that had gathered to watch Emraan Hashmi, Esha Gupta and Bipasha Basu during a meet and greet event, went beserk at the sight of the dusky dame and went out of control, resulting in a scary experience for the Bengali belle. It seems that one fan also tried to pull at her skirt and Basu ended up injuring her right hand while trying to flee her crazy fans.
In the Vikram Bhatt directed Raaz 3, Bipasha Basu will be seen playing the role of an actress, who resorts to black magic to create troubles for her competitor and rival in love, played by Esha Gupta. Maybe Bips can do some black magic in real life to wreak havoc in the lives of such crazy fans, eh?

Bhatts' next outing, Raaz 3, is up for release and it is clearly visible that Bipasha Basu has turned out to be the centre of all attraction. Whether it is the promos or the other publicity designs, it is Bipasha who is hogging all the limelight. One tends to ask the makers if this is being a little unfair towards Emraan Hashmi, considering the fact that he is the most saleable entity in the film and has come to his own over the last few years. Didn't he deserve a better place under the sun?
Smiles director Vikram Bhatt, "He is someone who is really mature and understands the way film promotion works. In fact he was the only actor from the film who was throughout part of the marketing meetings that we had. I have worked with him in Footpath years ago and from the Emraan of those days to the one I know today, he has really smartened."
Mukesh Bhatt further reaffirms that it was a conscious call taken by all involved and Emraan was in the loop throughout. Moreover, looking at the film, he feels that Bipasha was just the right fit for the role.
"See, the film's script demanded the casting of Bipasha; we realised that nobody better than her could have done the film. She is the most apt casting and fitted the role to the T. In the film she is playing a top superstar who is now losing out to a much younger starlet (Esha Gupta). If you draw parallels to the real life scenario, today Bipasha has been in the business for ten years and on a threshold where she may be developing the feeling of losing out. Who better than her to have an apt understanding of the character's emotion? We knew she would do complete justice to the character and she has done exactly that."
We would know when the film releases all over in 3D as well as 2D on 7th September.

Actress Bipasha Basu, whose next film Raaz 3 releases next week, had a weak moment this morning. She poured her heart out on Twitter. She wrote, "Sipping on my green tea n realising tht 7 sep is really close nw.#Raaz3 Releases in a week!Feeling a good mix of Eagerness n Anxiousness!"
She also had good things to say about her mother. Talking about her, she tweeted, "All thru growing up years we rebel against wht our mom says n always later realise tht evrything tht she always says is only fr our good."
"Being a good daughter is what I want to be always:)To make her proud of me forever:)," she further added.
She also got sentimental about all the adulation she has received over the years. She wrote, "Strongest prayer, 2 words of gratitude ,THANK YOU.To God,To Family,To Friends and All of You who make me feel like the special one always.."
She confessed it was one of those days that she felt a bit vulnerable after waking up. She posted, "One of those days when u wake up a lil vulnerable and feeling a lot!Happens to all I guess:)"
Playing an intense character in her upcoming film, directed by Vikram Bhatt, Basu certainly has a lot of happiness coming her way.
Her film Raaz 3, also starring Emraan Hashmi and Esha Gupta, releases on September 7.

Though Bipasha Basu is a total fitness freak, she is quite sensitive to allergens. Bipasha, who is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Raaz 3, has revealed that she is allergic to many things and has to depend on a pill, to tackle her ailments.
Bipasha says that she is so dependant on the pill, Allegra, that during the shoot of Race, Akshaye Khanna gave her the title of 'Princess Allegra'.
"I am very prone to allergies. I've allergy from last eight years and before I put my make-up on I have to have a tablet called Allegra and because of it, Akshaye Khanna christened me 'Princess Allegra', during the shooting of Race. I live on Allegra, after every eight hours I have that tablet, because I'm highly sensitive, otherwise my eyes become red," said Bipasha.
Bipasha will next be seen on-screen in Vikram Bhatt's Raaz 3, which will also feature Esha Gupta and Emraan Hashmi in the lead roles. The film is a supernatural thriller and is slated to release on September 7, 2012.

Bipasha Basu, who once refused to star opposite Emraan Hashmi, is all praise for the actor now. Bipasha will be seen opposite Emraan Hashmi in Vikram Bhatt's upcoming film Raaz 3 and the Bong bombshell feels that Hashmi is a fiery actor.
When asked how her experience was, working with the 'serial kisser' of Bollywood, Basu said, "From Footpath till Raaz 3, I think Emraan has done really well for himself. He is a great artiste, he is an effortless actor. All of us were very lost on this set, due to different reasons, but Emraan was all calm and composed. You'll think that he is so not involved but when he comes and you say action, then he just pounces on the role. He is that kind of a fiery actor, he is tremendous."
The third edition of Bhatt Camp's Raaz franchise, Raaz 3 also stars Esha Gupta and is slated to release on September 7, this year.

No Entry director Anees Bazmee has stated that he is considering roping in Bipasha Basu as the 10th actress for No Entry Mein Entry, which is the sequel to the 2005 film.
Bazmee was quoted saying that although Bipasha's role almost came to an end in the first film, they are thinking of ways to get her character back.
The director had earlier revealed that there will be nine actresses playing key roles in No Entry Mein Entry. However, with Bipasha's addition, there will be a total of 10 leading ladies in this film. The cast will be locked in another 10 to 15 days, according to sources.
The director also said that the three leading men Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan will be playing double roles in the film. The original No Entry starred Bipasha Basu, Lara Dutta, Esha Deol and Celina Jaitly as the leading ladies.

Bong bombshell Bipasha Basu is known to be one of the fittest actresses in Bollywood but the dusky dame, who is very particular about her diet, recently broke all rules on the sets of her next film Aatma.
Sources claim that Basu, who simply loves Bengali cuisine, had a craving for Bengali food while on the sets of the movie and decided to do away with her diet when she heard about a Bengali join in the nearby area. A source revealed, "Bipasha is a fish lover and yesterday she called for some delicious Bengali food for her and the entire crew from the famous Bengali restaurant 'Bhojohari Manna' in Oshiwara. And once the gourmet food was on the sets you can only imagine what must have happened! The entire unit went crazy over the yummy delicacies and it was a feast of sorts on the sets since there was so much food ranging from fish to prawns and also sweets like mishti doi and rasogullas."
In Aatma, Bipasha will be seen paired opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who was last seen playing the role of Faisal Khan in Anurag Kashyap's gangland epic Gangs Of Wasseypur.

Actors Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol will be seen sharing screen space once more in the sequel Yamla Pagla Deewana and there had been lots of speculations about which actress would be roped in to play the female lead.
Sources now claim that Bong beauty Bipasha Basu has been signed up to star opposite Bobby Deol in the movie. Buzz has it that the Deols were of the opinion that Bipasha would fit the role perfectly and after talks with the actress, the dusky dame ageed to come on board and will start shooting for the film soon.
Incidentally, Basu and Bobby were paired opposite each other way back in the Abbas-Mustan thriller Ajnabee more than a decade ago. The sequel to Yamla Pagla Deewana will see Sunny Deol reprise his role as the upright businessman Paramvir Singh whereas Dharmendra and Bobby will be seen playing a father-son conman duo named Dharam Singh and Gajodhar Singh respectively.

Often, the making of a horror film is marred by mysterious and spooky incidents on the sets. Director Suparn Verma's upcoming supernatural thriller Aatma - Feel It Around You, that features Bipasha Basu and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, is no different.
Abhishek Pathak, the producer of the film, said, "While shooting for one scene there was a photo frame hanging on the wall behind Nawazzudin, which at one point tilted a little bit but since the actor was very engrossed in the scene, Suparn decided not to cut the scene and go ahead with the shoot. But later to our shock, that particular photo frame fell on the floor even though there was no breeze in the room.”
Also, when the unit was shooting in Vashi, Suparn had his headphones on to hear the dialogues being delivered by the actors when suddenly he could hear the distant sound of a woman singing. However, when he took off his headphones, he could hear nothing and neither could any of the crew members.
Suparn, confirming the incident, said, "Only I and Bipasha heard the sound at first I kept quiet but when Bipasha said she heard a woman singing I said I heard too but when the sound recordist played it back there was no sound on tape."
Quite spooky, the film is turning out to be!

When Bipasha Basu decided to get into the fold of Bhatts after a hiatus, the makers gave her a hearty welcome. So much so that it seemed Emraan Hashmi was taken for granted as all their focus shifted on Bipasha, her look and presentation. It didn't stop just during the filming as even the promotional campaign started with her. It was obvious that Emraan couldn't have been expected to take it all lying down.
"When the first poster was launched, it was Bipasha who hogged maximum space. Later even in the theatrical promo, she was presented as the central protagonist. This wasn't all as Mahesh Bhatt even went ahead and wrote an entire article about Bipasha while drawing parallels between her real and reel life characters. It was particularly surprising that Emraan was nowhere around. There was not a word spoken on him", comments an insider.
Though Emraan didn't have a face off with Bhatts on this, it was expected that Bhatts would realise sooner or later that the most saleable person in the film couldn't be ignored for way too long.
"It has now been decided that Bhatt saab would be introducing Emraan as well Esha Gupta through his write-ups. In any case, Esha has openly made her displeasure clear about being given a secondary treatment", a source confirms.
Makers feel that a lot is being made out of nothing and attribute all of this to a 'planned' promotional campaign instead of this being a knee jerk reaction. "Bhatt saab would be soon hammering a lot about Emraan as well", says Mukesh Bhatt, "You can't say that our campaign is favouring Bipasha. The promo clearly conveys that 'Raaz 3' is about a film director (Emraan) torn between two superstars (Bipasha, Esha)."
Adds Vikram, "Emraan is a member of the house and he is perhaps the only one who was there in our marketing meetings. He is clued into our plans. There are no issues whatsoever."
Now we would like Emraan to say the same as well.

Actress Bipasha Basu has acquired a new nickname, Lady Gunda. Apparently, the actress was called 'Lady Gunda' during her school days.
It was on the sets of her upcoming horror flick Aatma- Feel it around you that director Suparn Verma called the actor Lady Gunda on seeing her tom boyish stunts and naughty pranks.
However, Bipasha wasn't really startled to hear the name, as she has been called that ever since her childhood. A source close to the production of the film says, "Looking at Bipasha's bindaas nature, Suparn told her that her name should be gunda and that's when she revealed that during school days she was called the lady gunda of the school as everyone was scared of her, including boys that were in a higher class as well. After she said this, everyone on the sets has been really very careful as you never know who will be her next target to play the pranks on."
The supernatural thriller, Aatma- Feel it around you, which also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, is set to release by the end of this year.

Actress Bipasha Basu, who is back working with the Bhatts after a decade, has revealed that she is scared of her own laughter.
At the launch of the theatrical trailer of Raaz 3, the actress said, "In Raaz 3, I laugh in a certain way, you must have noticed in the promo. Now when I watch a comedy film, I don't even laugh aloud because I am so scared of my own laughter."
"I am a big sissy, I don't look like one but I am. When I was narrated the script of the first Raaz, the chair I was sitting on flipped back and I fell down, I was so scared. Even while shooting for Raaz I was the most scared," she added.
Raaz 3, starring Emraan Hashmi, Esha Gupta and Bipasha Basu, is set to release on September 7.

Writer Shagufta Rafique, who has written films such as Woh Lamhe, Dhokha and Murder 2 will soon be making her directorial debut.
She says she would love to rope in Bipasha Basu and Randeep Hooda for her maiden directorial venture.
The film will be a thriller and Shagufta is waiting to finalise the cast and the production house.
She wanted to get into direction for the past three years. However, it is not sure who is going to produce her film.

Bong bombshell Bipasha Basu, who will be next seen in supernatural thriller Raaz 3 reportedly had a tough time while shooting for the film, sources claim. It seems that the dusky dame started having nightmares and couldn't sleep till late at the end of the day's schedule.
Sources attached to the unit were quoted saying that though Basu was normal in the initial days of the shoot, she started feeling uneasy on the day she had to shoot for the special promo posters of the film, which showed her in the grip of a pair of ghostly hands. Following the shoot, Basu reportedly complained of a certain uneasiness on the sets, which however disappeared when she started shooting for the film, it seems.
Bipasha Basu will be seen opposite Emraan Hashmi in Raaz 3, which is directed by Vikram Bhatt and produced by Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt.

Sunny Leone is all set to illumine the silver screen with her bold Bollywood debut Jism 2, however she won't be the only scorcher to set the screens ablaze on August 3, 2012. Bengal belle Bipasha Basu will give her company by sharing the platform.
The trailer of Basu's upcoming horror flick Raaz 3, will be unveiled with Pooja Bhatt's Jism 2. Raaz 3 stars Emraan Hashmi and Esha Gupta alongside Bipasha and will hit the theaters on September 7, this year.
Sequel to 2003 erotic thriller Jism, Jism 2 features Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh in the lead roles alongside Leone.

A day ago, it had been reported that John Abraham asked Shootout At Wadala director Sanjay Gupta to drop Bipasha Basu from the movie after she made remarks hinting at infidelity on part of the hunky actor during their relationship.
However, it seems that this is not true and John is quite miffed about such reports doing the rounds. A source close to the actor revealed that John has always maintained his silence over his break-up with Bipasha and did not even comment on the issue when Basu accused him of cheating on her. However, this news that he was instrumental in getting Bipasha thrown out of the movie has left him fuming.
On his part, director Sanjay Gupta claimed that neither he nor Ekta Kapoor ever claimed that Bipasha was a part of the film, so there is no question of her being thrown out of the film at all. Gupta further added that John has always been professional about his work and has never interfered with the casting process of the film.
Shootout At Wadala, which also stars Anil Kapoor, Manoj Bajpayee, Sonu Sood and Tusshar Kapoor dramatizes the real life incident of the Manya Surve encounter, which is the first ever recorded encounter in the history of the Mumbai Police.

A few months back, it had been reported that Bong bombshell Bipasha Basu has been signed up by Sanjay Gupta for his gangland flick Shootout At Wadala, in which she was supposed to play the love interest of Manoj Bajpayee's character Sabir.
However, sources now claim that former beau John Abraham, who essays the pivotal character of Manya Surve in the film, allegedly asked Gupta and the makers to drop Bips from the project. The reason- 'Action' Abraham was not too pleased when Basu hinted at infidelity on John's part during the days when they both were in a relationship. A miffed John then asked the makers to find a replacement for the character of Chitra, which was supposed to be played by Basu.
Shootout At Wadala dramatizes the first ever recorded encounter by the Mumbai Police when a squad of cops got in a gunfight with dreaded gangster Manya Surve and managed to shoot him dead. The film also stars Anil Kapoor and Sonu Sood, apart from other actors.

Supernatural thrillers have become Bipasha Basu's favourite genre or so it seems. After winding up Vikram Bhatt's Raaz 3d, Bipasha has now started shooting for Suparn Verma's Aatma.
The film went on floors last night and an excited Basu took to Twitter to announce the same. "AATMA# shoot begins tonight!A very emotional n scary journey of a girl called Maya!Excited 2 essay d role of Maya!1 hell of a scary film!:)," the dusky diva posted on her page, on Wednesday.
Ace couturier Rocky S will be designing for Bipasha in Aatma and the Bengal belle feels that her character 'Maya' needed Rocky's Midas touch.
"@RockyS_STAR Thank you! My character of Maya needed u in#AATMA !," she tweeted on the micro-blogging site. And Rocky too is equally excited to be a part of the movie. "@bipsluvurself u gonna so rock this character!!m so glad tht am a part of this movie and could stlye the gorgeous u!!hugs (sic)," he reciprocated.
The film is being produced by Kumar Mangat and Abhishek Pathak and will star Nawazuddin Siddiqui opposite Bipasha.
