Gangs Of Wasseypur actress Richa Chadda will be seen playing a sensuous, party-goer Roma in debutant director Akshay Choubey's film Couch Surfing Mannu.
The actress was shooting an item number for the film Chattarpur. Richa Chadda was quoted saying that she agreed to make a small appearance in the film as Akshay is a good friend and she really loved the concept.
Richa was facing some difficulty while dancing as she had recently undergone a knee surgery followed by three months of bed rest.
After Kareena Kapoor ceased to be a part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gujarati version of Romeo And Juliet, there had been much speculation about which actress would be roped in to act opposite Ranveer Singh in Ram Leela and now sources claim that the filmmaker might have finally found his 'Juliet'.
If sources are to be believed, actress Richa Chadda, who made her Bollywood debut with Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye and gave a stellar performance in the gangland epic Gangs Of Wasseypur, has been approached to play the female lead in the film.
Meanwhile, it is being said that Deepika Padukone, who was recently seen in Cocktail is quite keen to act in the film and has been sending out feelers about her readiness to work with Bhansali. To add to the speculation, there are also reports that Bhansali himself is quite keen to rope in Priyanka Chopra for the film.
Well well…the plot does thicken, eh?
