After enticing the Indian audiences with their erotic thriller, team ‘Jism 2’ is now gearing up to set the screens ablaze in Pakistan.
‘Jism 2’ starring adult entertainer Sunny Leone, Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh is slated to release in Pakistan, this Eid. The announcement was made on the official Twitter handle of the movie. “#Jism2 will release on Eid in Pakistan! : ),” posted team ‘Jism 2’ on the micro-blogging site.
Sequel to the 2003 release ‘Jism’, ‘Jism 2’ is directed and co-produced by Pooja Bhatt and has been declared a hit at the Indian box-office.
After a brief hiatus, Arunoday Singh is back on the silver screen with Jism 2. Even though this is the biggest film that he has been a part of till date, the irony is that the film is being spoken most about for Sunny Leone and her erotic presence in the film. Arunoday is cool about theentire scenario though.
"Actually, it is the entire package that is working here", he says in a thoughtful tone, "While signing the film, I liked the fact that it had this huge brand value to it, courtesy Jism being a hit. I knew that Jism 2 would find a big release for itself. Moreover I loved the fact that my role was really powerful as well and allowed me an opportunity to explore a different facet of my acting talent. Also, while Pooja Bhatt was directing the film, I knew for sure that Mahesh Bhatt would contribute to it as well. All these factors come together in making Jism 2 what it is today."
He goes on to add that the whole frenzy surrounding Sunny Leone has more than made up for the lack of hype that some of his earlier films have unfortunately suffered from.
"Of course, let's not ignore the Sunny factor here; it is bound to help in pulling crowds, courtesy huge buzz and hype around her", he smiles, "With so much going in film's favour, I would have been a fool to even think of not doing it. Yes, at times even the greatest combinations don't work. However, even the other way round is true because at times some makers too don't have faith in their films and still they go on to become hits. So eventually as an actor it is best to go with the flow and deliver your best. After all, you never know what would be in store for you tomorrow."
Well Arunoday, now that the film has released, we would know soon.
Indo-Canadian adult star Sunny Leone will mark her debut in Bollywood with Pooja Bhatt's Jism 2 and the actress is all praise for her co-stars Arunoday Singh and Randeep Hooda.
Sunny reveals that while Hooda is a serious actor, Arunoday is more fun. "Randeep is a very serious actor and he is very dedicated to his job, he gets you in the mood before you are in the mood because he is so much into his character, which is a good thing. It's rarely that you see somebody like that," said the 31-year-old star.
"Arunoday is a goofball, we would have so much fun on the sets and laugh and play and then be very serious for the scenes and as soon as it was over and Pooja was happy with that cut, we used to give each other a high-five (laughs)," said Sunny, about Singh.
Sequel to 2003, hit film Jism, Jism 2 will hit the theaters on August 3, 2012.
