A day ago, it had been reported that YRF find Ranveer Singh had allegedly commented on social micro-blogging site Twitter that Salman Khan starrer Ek Tha Tiger is a boring film. However, it now seems that the tweet was not posted by Ranveer, but a impostor, which has left the actor fuming.
A spokesperson representing Singh said, "The information on a tweet being attributed to Ranveer Singh in some sections of the media about his comments on Ek Tha Tiger is completely incorrect and baseless. The tweet being referred to is of an impersonator and not of Ranveer. While Ranveer is on twitter and his twitter handle is @RanveerOfficial, he has never tweeted till date. His intention of being on twitter is to be able to interact with his friends and read what they are tweeting."
Ranveer Singh will be next seen in Vikramaditya Motwane's Lootera opposite Sonakshi Sinha and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ram Leela opposite Deepika Padukone.

Bollywood newbie and YRF favourite Ranveer Singh surely needs lessons in diplomacy, it seems! Despite the fact that Salman Khan starrer Ek Tha Tiger broke all records at the box office by crossing Rs. 200 crores and is being hailed as a super-hit, it seems that Ranveer is not quite impressed with the spy flick.
Not only this, Ranveer also made his opinions public on a micro-blogging site by writing that Ek Tha Tiger was an absolute bore. Though Singh did try for some damage control by claiming that the last 15 minutes of the film were magical, the damage was done already.
Wonder what a certan 'Tiger' Khan is planning to do about this now. Salman was seen playing the role of an undercover RAW agent in the Kabir Khan directed flick, in which he was romantically paired opposite Katrina Kaif.
Meanwhile, Singh will be next seen in Vikramaditya Motwane's film Lootera and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ram Leela.

Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger has set yet another record! The film has crossed the 200 crore mark, that too in just 12 days. The movie has collected more than Rs. 210 cr, in domestic and overseas Box Office. In India it has crossed 175 crore, according to trade analysts.
And this is not the only record clenched by the blockbuster. ETT is also India's biggest opener yet, as it garnered a whopping sum of Rs. 32 crores on the very first day of its release. The YRF flick also became the fastest 100 crore grosser, by crossing the 100 crore mark in just five days. Presently the movie is only behind Aamir Khan's 2009 release 3 Idiots, which is still Bollywood's top earning movie, with a collection of 202 crores, in India.
Ek Tha Tiger revolves around a RAW agent codenamed Tiger, played by Salman Khan and his lady love Zoya, essayed by Katrina Kaif. Directed by Kabir Khan, the movie released on August 15, 2012.

It was always on the cards that the Bodyguard record would be comfortably surpassed by Ek Tha Tiger. However the speed at which it has happened for this Kabir Khan directed film is clearly mind boggling. Even though the film has opened extraordinarily well, one waited to see how the film would perform after the euphoria settled down. However as has turned out to be the case, the film has sustained extremely well, and how.
This Salman Khan starrer has turned out to be the first film to record over 10 crores in each of its first eight days, something that hasn't ever happened before. With its entire extended week of 9 days bringing in very good moolah, the film has now crossed the 150 crore mark by a good margin.
The feat is special for number of reasons. First and foremost this Yash Raj production is now the second biggest grosser of all times, hence being next only to 3 Idiots (202 crores). Secondly, the speed with which this number has been achieved is now a standard that has been set for films to come. Thirdly, and very importantly, it now sets very high target for Dabangg 2 which had made over 140 crores two years back. Given the current standing of Salman, the business that Bollywood is enjoying today and the fact that it is a sequel to a much loved film means that Dabangg 2 would most definitely end 2012 on a high.
The film should do well in second week as well and though the percentage drop from first week would be seemingly high, one has to consider the fact that 150 crores plus in 9 days is no mean feat. Still, a second week of around 35 crore is a possibility which means the film would be ~190 crore by the time Joker releases. Post that it would be a close watch to see the 200 crore mark being reached, something which cannot be ruled out now.

Zilla Ghaziabad director Anand Kumar, has been blessed with a baby boy on Eid and so inspired is the director with Salman Khan and his latest release Ek Tha Tiger, that he has christened his new born, Tiger.
Kumar stated that Salman has become synonymous to Eid, as every year he comes up with great films on the occasion. He further added that this year, Khan broke all records with his blockbuster spy flick and as his son was born on the auspicious occasion of Eid, therefore he decided to name him Tiger.
Salman's Ek Tha Tiger has set a new record by becoming the fastest Rs.100 crore grosser. The film is directed by Kabir Khan and stars Katrina Kaif opposite Salman.

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif might not be together anymore, but it is quite evident that the 'Tiger' is still quite fond of his 'Kat'.
However, when the two actors appeared on a dance reality show to promote their latest release Ek Tha Tiger, it seems that Khan got slightly upset with Katrina. The reason- the pretty actress insisted that Sallu perform to a dance track from Hum Aapke Hain Koun with Madhuri Dixit, a film in which they were romantically paired opposite each other. However, Sallu was not in the mood to shake a leg but after Kaif put her foot down while on the show, Salman had to oblige.
Sources claim that after the show, when the two stars went back to their vanity vans, Salman scolded Kaif for making him 'dance to her tunes', so to say…
Salman and Katrina were seen paired opposite each other in Kabir Khan helmed Ek Tha Tiger, which released on August 15 and already crossed the Rs. 100 crore mark within a week!

Salman Khan has proved yet again that he is the leader of the 100 crore club, in Bollywood. Salman's latest release 'Ek Tha Tiger', has broken all box-office records in India, by garnering a whopping sum of Rs.100.16 crore nett in just five days.
'Ek Tha Tiger' has become the fastest 100 crore grosser and this is not the only record
that the movie has set. The film collected a sum of Rs.32 crore on its opening day and broke the record of the highest first day collection, which was earlier held by Karan Johar's 2012 release 'Agneepath' (22 crores). It is also Yash Raj Films' first project, which has crossed the 100 crore mark.
The film revolves around a RAW agent codenamed Tiger, played by Salman Khan and his lady love Zoya, essayed by Katrina Kaif. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film released on August 15, 2012.
With four centuries to his credit, it seems that Salmania is not going to end, anytime soon.

A few days back, it had been reported that Salman Khan had claimed to be open to the idea of acting in a prequel as well as a sequel to his latest release 'Ek Tha Tiger', based on the response received at the box office.
However, despite the fact that the movie was received with open arms by the audience, it seems that neither producers YRF nor director Kabir Khan seem to be having any plans for a sequel yet. In a recent interview, Kabir Khan was quoted saying that they don't have a storyline for taking the movie forward in a sequel.
The spy flick, which also starred Katrina Kaif, managed to rake in a whopping sum of Rs. 32 crores on the first day of its release itself. The film, which released on August 15, was much appreciated for its slick action sequences and cinematography, not to mention Salman's inimitable screen presence.

Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer Ek Tha Tiger, which released on August 15, was one of the most anticipated films this year and banking on the Eid-Salman factor, multiplexes across the nation had decided to hike the prices of the ticket so as to cash in on the movie's popularity.
However, it seems that this decision has not gone down well with YRF patriarch Yash Chopra. Sources claim that the veteran filmmaker recently shot off a letter through his production house to multiplexes, asking them to slash the prices immediately, as Chopra felt that the hike was unfair to the average movie-goer.
However, it seems that multiplex owners are unwilling to bend and are claiming that a price slash is unlikely, atleast in a metropolitan city like Mumbai. Well well…let's see who wins this tug of war, eh?

Poor Katrina Kaif probably had no idea about the media storm that she would provoke after being spotted with a red sindoor on her forehead and Bollywood brat Salman Khan had to step in to pat her back when the lissome lass broke down recently after rumours of her secret marriage started doing the rounds.
It seems that on the day Ek Tha Tiger released, Katrina Kaif had attended a pooja at her business manager's home and on coming out with Salman, when the media saw a red mark on her forehead (which was a result of the tikka applied during the pooja), the media went in an overdrive, suggesting that someone has finally managed to 'bell the Kat', so to say. Needless to say, this made Katrina break down and former flame Salman Khan had to step in and console her after the Ek Tha Tiger screening at Yash Raj Films Studios.
Directed by Kabir Khan, Ek Tha Tiger, which released on August 15 in India, is a thriller love story about a RAW agent, who goes on an undercover mission to spy on an Indian scientist suspected of selling defence secrets and ends up falling in love with a girl with a dark secret.
