Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh recently finished shooting a schedule of his upcoming film David in record time. The actor, who is currently filming for Bejoy Nambiar's next film after Shaitan, has completed the first schedule in just 16 days.

A source was quoted saying that Neil has just finished shooting probably for the fastest film of his career. The shooting of the film was in Ooty and to everyone's surprise; the schedule was packed up in just a few days' time. The source added that the production house had planned for at least a month's schedule but they finished it in just 16 days.

Neil will soon be leaving for Canada for the last schedule. Apparently, the actor's character is believed to be inspired by the legendary Hollywood actor James Dean's character from the film Rebel Without A Cause. The film also stars Tabu, Monica Dogra and Vikram among others.

Actress Lara Dutta, who gave birth to daughter Saira earlier this year, is getting back to films. She has begun shooting for the Bejoy Nambiar film David, which is being shot in Hindi and Tamil.

Lara tweeted, "Morning folks! Off to shoot for Bejoy Nambiar's David. Being shot in Hindi and Tamil simultaneously! Doing both versions."

"Felt good 2b back on set!Team David is an easy, enthusiastic crew 2 work with!Was a tough day for mom though,away from her daughter!:-)," she added, once the shoot wrapped up.

David stars Neil Nitin Mukesh, Vinay Virmani, Chiyaan Vikram and Isha Sharvani.
