
Actor Randeep Hooda, who is enacting the role of a cricketer in Madhur Bhandarkar's upcoming film Heroine opposite Kareena Kapoor, has taken a lot of inspiration from the Pakistani cricketer Imran Khan. During the 80s, Imran was known for his reported link ups.
According to a source, Randeep has been portrayed as a charming cricketer, who has an affair with a popular actress, played by Kareena. Although the character is based on Imran Khan, it has not been suggested that he is the captain of the Pakistan cricket team.
There have been reports in the recent past that Randeep had been taking a lot of cues from the Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag for his role in the film.
He also went to watch him play during the last India-West Indies cricket match with Naseeruddin Shah.
Heroine, starring Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Randeep Hooda, is set to release on September 14.

After enticing the Indian audiences with their erotic thriller, team ‘Jism 2’ is now gearing up to set the screens ablaze in Pakistan.
‘Jism 2’ starring adult entertainer Sunny Leone, Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh is slated to release in Pakistan, this Eid. The announcement was made on the official Twitter handle of the movie. “#Jism2 will release on Eid in Pakistan! : ),” posted team ‘Jism 2’ on the micro-blogging site.
Sequel to the 2003 release ‘Jism’, ‘Jism 2’ is directed and co-produced by Pooja Bhatt and has been declared a hit at the Indian box-office.

Writer Shagufta Rafique, who has written films such as Woh Lamhe, Dhokha and Murder 2 will soon be making her directorial debut.
She says she would love to rope in Bipasha Basu and Randeep Hooda for her maiden directorial venture.

Sunny reveals that while Hooda is a serious actor, Arunoday is more fun. "Randeep is a very serious actor and he is very dedicated to his job, he gets you in the mood before you are in the mood because he is so much into his character, which is a good thing. It's rarely that you see somebody like that," said the 31-year-old star.
"Arunoday is a goofball, we would have so much fun on the sets and laugh and play and then be very serious for the scenes and as soon as it was over and Pooja was happy with that cut, we used to give each other a high-five (laughs)," said Sunny, about Singh.
