A few days back, there had been news circulating in the media that former beauty queen turned actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is gearing up for a comeback, but shall only take up projects if she is paired opposite hubby Abhishek Bachchan.
However, a spokesperson representing the light-eyed beauty rubbished such rumours and claimed, "A certain section of the media has been wrongly reporting that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan would do films only with her husband in the future. This bit of news has in the past also been circulated during the time Aishwarya was getting married and at other times as well. We would like to state for the record and put an end to any such speculation that this information is incorrect and is a figment of someone's imagination. Its disheartening to see such tactics being employed by people threatened by her position. Aishwarya has been a complete professional and will at no point let personal equations affect the films she acts in."
Aishwarya gave birth to a daughter in November last year and Beti B, as she was named by the media, was later named Aaradhya by the Bachchan family.

Around two years ago when Abhishek Bachchan's Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey had released, there was quite some bad blood that had floated around. Anurag Kashyap had openly conveyed his displeasure over the film gaining preference over Chittagong (based on the same subject) which featured Manoj Bajpayee in the same role (of Master da) as Abhishek. Now that the film is finally releasing, all is conveniently forgotten.
"Anurag has moved on from the episode and while he is co-producing Chittagong, he has told one and all that there are no issues anymore with the Bachchans. Same holds good for Manoj too who, with the passage of time, has chosen to forget the episode and is in good terms with the Bachchans", informs a common source.
Not many are aware that Ashutosh Gowariker's Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey as well as first timer Bedabrata Pain's Chittagong boast of the same historic incident when a bunch of teenagers had tried to push British out of their land. When both filmmakers were ready with their respective take on the event, it was Abhishek's version that released first. When the film flopped badly, Manoj's film had to wait since it was considered futile to release it at that time.
Now that Chittagong is all to release next month, one can well foresee comparisons being made all over again not just between the two films but also Manoj Bajpayee and Abhishek Bachchan. However former isn't really taking the delay to his heart and also states that there are no issues whatsoever with Abhishek.
"Abhishek is someone whom I am really familiar with. I respect him and have high regard for that man", says Manoj, "I am prepared for any comparisons that come in, whether for good or for bad. If you compare me with Abhishek then it will only make me happy; no issues around that."
Guess what Abhishek has to say on this now.

Former beauty queen turned actress turned recent mum Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is currently enjoying the joys of motherhood, is said to be making plans for a comeback in the near future.
However, what might surprise many is that the light-eyed beauty has reportedly spread the word that she would act only opposite hubby Abhishek Bachchan! Sources claim that when a well-known filmmaker went to meet Ash, as she is popularly known, with a project, the actress apparently turned down the role despite being impressed with the script as she only wants to work with AB Jr.
Well well...we cant help but wonder about how does the Bachchan Bahu intend to make a successful comeback with such conditions imposed on filmmakers...

Actor Abhishek Bachchan was in for a pleasant surprise when he returned to the city recently. His daughter Aaradhya Bachchan has started looking a bit different and has started to crawl too.
Abhishek Bachchan was recently quoted saying in an interview that he has been told that Aaradhya's face will keep changing for the first year or two. Bachchan added that he is sure everyone wants the girl to look like her mother Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and not him, which he jokingly said would be a bit scary for her.
Sources close to the actor claim that Abhishek and Aishwarya want to bring their daughter up as normally as possible and that it would be a very middle-class one just like his own along with Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan.
While mother Aishwarya has been on a break ever since she gave birth to Aaradhya last year, Abhishek is off to Chicago to shoot for Dhoom 3, along with Uday Chopra, Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif.

Debutante producer Saurabh Varma has bought the rights of the Hollywood film Buried that released in 2010. A source close to Varma has revealed that he is planning to have either John Abraham or Abhishek Bachchan play the lead role in the remake.
Varma was quoted saying that he wants an A-list actor for the lead and that they are looking at developing a good script because it is a Hollywood concept, and needs to be adapted for Indian audiences.
Apparently, the producer has already discussed the idea with Arjun Rampal.
Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds played the lead in the original. The film is about an American truck driver working in Iraq. After an attack, he finds himself buried inside a coffin with a lighter and a mobile phone and tries to escape.

Actor Abhishek Bachchan, who was mostly seen playing action packed roles in his past few films like Dum Maaro Dum and Players and also tried his hand at comedy with Bol Bachchan, has now decided to unleash his romantic side, it seems.
Sources claim that the actor has been signed up by director Kunal Kohli for a romantic film, which is scheduled to go on floors in next year. Kohli's last film Teri Meri Kahaani starring former flames Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra did not make a splash at the box office as such, so it remains to be seen whether the AB Jr-Kunal Kohli jodi will be able to achieve success.
Abhishek Bachchan is presently in Chicago, where he is shooting for racy thriller Dhoom 3, in which he will be see reprising his role as ACP Jai Dixit. The film also stars Uday Chopra as his loyal sidekick Ali and Aamir Khan as the antagonist.

Recent daddy Abhishek Bachchan, who will be flying to Chicago to shoot for YRF flick 'Dhoom 3', has decided to not be a victim of homesickness, it seems.
Buzz has it that the actor has rented a house in Chicago where wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya would stay with AB Jr during the three months schedule. Not only this, even Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan are supposed to join them at a later date so that the the family can spend time together as and when Abhishek is free.
It seems that Abhishek Bachchan was inspired to take this step after Aamir Khan, who will be seen playing the antagonist in 'Dhoom 3', took alng his wife Kiran Rao and son Azad with him to Chicago so that he could get some quality time with his family.
'Dhoom 3' will see Abhishek reprising his role as ACP Jai Dixit, who will team up with good friend Ali (Uday Chopra) to lock horns with antagonist Khan.

Actor Abhishek Bachchan is in London to attend the Olympics as the brand ambassador of a luxury watch brand.
The actor tweeted, "At the Omega olympic park hospitality centre. Looking forward to the 100mt finals. @omegawatches http://yfrog.com/kixrhjpj ."
"Unbelievable experience to see Bolt run and win the 100mts final live!!! @omegawatches," he further added.
He attended the tennis match between Andy Murray and Roger Federer and the athletics events, most importantly, Usain Bolt's 100m dash.
Amitabh Bachchan, who had carried the Olympic torch during the relay organized ahead of the opening ceremony of the London Olympics, earlier posted on his blog, "One comes another leaves. Abhishek travels out to the Olympics tonight (Sunday). As brand ambassador for Omega and the watch company being one of the sponsors of London2012, he goes to attend some events ! Lucky."
The Olympic Games, which commenced on July 27, will end on August 12.

Since the past few months, there had been media reports doing the rounds that actor Abhishek Bachchan has been working out diligently to buff up his physique for the role of a cop in upcoming flick Dhoom 3.
However, AB Jr recently rubbished such rumours and said that his Dhoom 3 character ACP Jai Dixit, is a cop who relies more on brains rather than brawn and as such, there is hardly any need for the character to have big muscles. He also admitted that though he is physically agile, he has never been gym crazy as such. Abhishek also admitted that it is quite a privilege to work with Aamir Khan in Dhoom 3.
YRF flick Dhoom 3 will see Abhishek and Uday Chopra reprise their roles as ACP Jai Dixit and Ali respectively whereas Aamir Khan will be seen playing the role of an antagonist.

Actor Abhishek Bachchan, who had played the role of Indian Army Captain Vikram Batra in J. P. Dutta's war flick LOC - Kargil, got nostalgic about his role today, which is remembered as 'Kargil Diwas'.
Taking to Twitter, AB Jr wrote, "Today is Kargil Diwas. I had the honour of getting the opportunity to play the role of the great Capt. Vikram Batra in my film L.O.C. A silent prayer for all that fought and lost lives…. We must never forget their sacrifice.
A 2003 film based on the actual Kargil War that was fought between India and Pakistan, LOC - Kargil saw Abhishek Bachchan play the role of Captain Vikram Batra, who laid down his life while fighting infiltrators. Captain Batra, whose iconic battle-cry Ye Dil Maange More became a popular catch-phrase with Indian soldiers, was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra, India's highest award for valour, for his actions during the Kargil War.

Much has been reported about Aamir Khan playing the antagonist in upcoming YRF flick Dhoom 3 and actor Abhishek Bachchan, whose performance in laugh riot Bol Bachchan was highly appreciated, has claimed that he is quite looking forward to learn from Mr. Perfectionist while shooting for the movie.
In the Dhoom series, Abhishek Bachchan plays the character of ACP Jai Dixit, a no-nonsense cop and Bachchan Jr has made it clear that he is not thinking about any clash with Aamir Khan. He admitted quite candidly that he is very excited about working with Aamir and intends to sit back and learn from him during the shooting.
Apart from Dhoom 3, Aamir Khan will also be seen in Reema Kagti's psychological thriller Talaash, where the actor will be seen playing the role of a cop.
