
Actress Manisha Koirala turned 42 yesterday. Having made Mumbai her home and comeback to Bollywood her topmost priority after ending her marriage to Nepali businessman Samrat Dehal, she was going to throw a birthday party for her close friends including Tabu, Jackie Shroff, Vivek Mushran, designers Ana Singh, Shahid Aamir and a few others.
Manisha, however, had to cancel her party when she heard that her guru, dear friend and business partner Ashok Mehta had passed away on August 15.
She also posted a condolence message that read, "When we lose some one dear it again reminds us how short n fragile our life is....n we take each other,our life,every miraculous moments for granted....RIP chachu...you ll always be in our heart....heaven must be lit up brightly.."
Manisha had worked with the cinematographer on several films including his directorial venture Moksha: Salvation.

Actress Manisha Koirala, who had tied the knot with businessman Samrat Dahal around two years back, has reportedly separated from him as they could not resolve their issues, claim sources.
Manisha had also earlier posted comments on her Facebook page, which suggested that all was not well between the two. Sources close to the Khamoshi actress claim that the couple decided to separate a couple of weeks back.
It is also being said that Manisha, who is back in Mumbai, is looking forward to making a comeback to Bollywood by teaming up with Ram Gopal Varma for the sequel to Bhoot. Manisha had earlier dated and was engaged to Crispin Conroy, the former Australian ambassador to Nepal, though they broke up later.
