It had been earlier reported that actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who made his Bollywood debut with Shoojit Sircar's 'Vicky Donor', would be assisting Sircar in his next film 'Jaffna'. However, now it seems that Khurrana might not be able to assist on the film.
Confirming the news, the newbie actor admitted that he had agreed to assist Sircar on 'Jaffna' as he had no other projects in hand at the time when he decided to assist the filmmaker, but now that he has landed a Ramesh Sippy flick and also 'Hamara Bajaj', he would not have time to assist Sirar.
'Jaffna' is a political thriller, which is being produced by John Abraham, who will also star in it and the film is supposed to revolve around the LTTE issues in Sri Lanka.

Ayushmann Khurrana, who made his silver screen debut with Vicky Donor, is set to work with its director Shoojit Sircar's next film Jaffna as an assistant director.
Initially, the actor was supposed to assist Sircar on the entire film but owing to other commitments, he will only work on a part of the film. Jaffna will be shot at the once-troubled city of Jaffna in Sri Lanka.
Jaffna, produced by John Abraham, depicts the LTTE's separatist conflict in Sri Lanka.

Sources claim that actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who wowed everyone with his performance and comic timing in Vicky Donor, might have been roped in to play Ranveer Singh's friend in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ram Leela.
It seems that 'Vicky' was spotted hanging out on the sets of Ram Leela and spending time with the cast and crew of the film, which has sparked off the speculations. Bhansali's Ram Leela is the Indian version of William Shakespeare's tragic romantic play Romeo And Juliet and is set in Gujarat.
Incidentally, both Ranveer and Ayushmann have played the role of typical Delhi youths in their debut films viz. Band Baaja Baaraat and Vicky Donor respectively, so it should be interesting to see the bromance between them if and when Ayushmann is officially signed up for the Ram Leela role.
