Actress Mallika Sherawat, who has become quite the Hollywood darling, will be next seen playing a role based on Bhanwari Devi in KC Bokadia's Dirty Politics, which revolves around the story of the alleged murder of Devi by a politician.
Bokadia, who is quite impressed with Mallika's work, had declared that the Haryanvi hottie was his first choice for the role. Incidentally, veteran actor Om Puri will be roped in to essay the role of a veteran politician, who has an affair with Mallika's character, which subsequently leads to her murder.
An auxiliary nurse from Rajasthan, Bhanwari Devi went missing on September 1, 2011 and it was alleged that she was murdered on the orders of Indian politician Mahipal Maderna, who she was allegedly blackmailing for the trade of a CD, which showed Devi in a compromising position with Maderna and some other people.
