After two previous failed attempts, actor John Abraham could be finally getting to work with Sriram Raghavan on his next film.

John and Raghavan were supposed to work with each other on two different films. One was to be co-produced by Milan Luthria, while the other project was to be produced by Gaurang Doshi and feature Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in it. However, neither of the films took off.

While Raghavan ruled out that John may act in the film, he confirmed that the actor will definitely produce the project. The Agent Vinod and Johnny Gaddaar director was quoted saying that he is still in the scripting process and that he has not approached any actor for it.

After his action film Agent Vinod failed to work at the box office, the filmmakers is set to return to his favourite genre – thrillers.

Director Sriram Raghavan, who last made slick spy thriller Agent Vinod starring Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, might soon be teaming up with veteran actor Rishi Kapoor for a film, which might be a comeback of Raj Kapoor's production banner RK Films.

Sources claim that Raghavan recently approached Ranbir Kapoor with the script of a film and on discussing the script, Ranbir felt that this script has the potential to revive the banner. Keeping this in mind, Ranbir approached father Rishi Kapoor to supervise the script. It is being said that Rishi Kapoor might produce the film.

Known for making slick thrillers, Sriram Raghavan has made films like Ek Hasina Thi and Johnny Gaddaar in the past.
