Director Pooja Bhatt and the star cast of Jism 2 have penned a letter to the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Prithviraj Chavan, requesting him to ban the use of horse-drawn carriages in the city.
The letter reads, "Forcing horses to haul carriages in Mumbai, where they create a traffic nuisance, is inherently cruel; horses routinely collapse, and people have died from the accidents the horses cause. It is high time to put horse carriages out to pasture for good."
The Jism 2 team, including Sunny Leone, Arunoday Singh, Dino Morea and Arko Pravo Mukherjee have teamed up with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) to fight for the cause.
Jism 2 lead star Sunny Leone is already associated with the PETA organization. The film Jism 2 released on August 3 and was a big success at the box office.
Actress-turned-filmmaker Pooja Bhatt is keen to remake her own film Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahi with sister Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead. The 1991 film, starring Pooja Bhatt and Aamir Khan, was directed by Mahesh Bhatt.
Pooja was recently quoted saying that she would love to remake the film with Alia and Ranbir in the lead and that they are the perfect replacements for her and Aamir's characters.
In Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahi, Pooja played the role of daughter of a rich shipping tycoon - Anupam Kher, while Aamir Khan played a reporter. Pooja thinks that the trailer is amazing and that Alia looks brilliant.
Alia is set to make her debut in Bollywood with Karan Johar's Student Of The Year. In this film, Alia stars opposite newcomers Siddharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan, son of director David Dhawan. The film produced by Karan Johar and co-produced by Shah Rukh Khan, releases on October 19.

‘Jism 2’ starring adult entertainer Sunny Leone, Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh is slated to release in Pakistan, this Eid. The announcement was made on the official Twitter handle of the movie. “#Jism2 will release on Eid in Pakistan! : ),” posted team ‘Jism 2’ on the micro-blogging site.
Sequel to the 2003 release ‘Jism’, ‘Jism 2’ is directed and co-produced by Pooja Bhatt and has been declared a hit at the Indian box-office.
Pooja Bhatt is on cloud nine these days as her latest release Jism 2 has been declared successful at the box-office.
Beaming with pride, Bhatt, the director of the film, recently stated that the brand Jism is not merely a film but something that turns actors into stars. Porn star Sunny Leone has marked her debut into Bollywood, with the erotic thriller and Pooja is happy that the adult entertainer has been accepted, by the audiences, as a mainstream actress.

A couple of days ago, we had reported how a political party member named Vidya Chavan had written to city mayor Sunil Prabhu asking him to have posters of Jism 2 removed from bus stops and BEST buses as the posters were obscene.
Now, it seems that a MLA from the same political party has recently extended an invitation to adult entertainment star Sunny Leone,who makes her Bollywood debut with Jism 2, for their annual dahi handi event! Needless to say, this has irked Pooja Bhatt, the director of erotic thriller Jism 2, who took to Twitter to lash out at the hypocrisy of political parties. Pooja wrote, “While NCP objects to #Jism2 posters,our PRO gets a request from an NCP MLA for Sunny to attend a dahi handi function they are hosting!!”
It seems that Jitendra Avhad, the MLA in question, hastened to clarify that his party does not support Vidya Chavan's stand on the posters and an elated Pooja wrote again, “Just spoke with MR. Jitendra Awhad(NCP). He assures me that both him & his party DO NOT support Vidya Chavan's view on the #Jism2poster! MR. Awhad categorically stated that Vidya Chavan's views were her own & that NCP is against any sort of 'Taliban' like behavior displayed.”

Sunny Leone, who will mark her Bollywood debut with Jism 2, is all praise for her director Pooja Bhatt. Sunny recently returned to India from Los Angeles, to promote her upcoming erotic thriller.
Leone praised Pooja, while addressing the media saying ''Pooja is very very hardworking and she paid attention to every single little detail, made sure every shot was perfect.''
“As a director and an actress she has the ability to know what it takes to get that certain feeling or emotion that she went through or she knows as an actor, what it's like to be in the position that you are in. You are sending them (the actors) in front of the camera. She knows what it feels like, so it's something you relate to,” the adult star further added.
Sunny is excited about the release of her maiden Bollywood venture, which also features Arunoday Singh and Randeep Hooda in the lead roles.
Her Jism 2 has not even released but director Pooja Bhatt has already announced Jism 3.
Reportedly, the third part of the Jism series will be made in 3D. Pooja was quoted saying that the script of the film was ready a long time back and that it would be interesting to make an erotic film in 3D.

The Bhatt camp is gearing up for the release of their upcoming film Jism 2, and the erotic thriller has been passed with an A-certificate by the Censor Board.
The film's director and co-producer announced it on Twitter writing, "'A' certificate received for Jism 2August 3 here we come! India just got itself an erotic thriller that truly reflects the times."
She also stated that all the cuts in the much-anticipated film, have been made 'upon her discretion'. "Let me also clarify to all my 'well-wishers' that Jism 2 has not been affected in the least by the cuts I made 'upon my own discretion," she further added.

Central protagonist of Jism 2, Sunny Leone, has been seen by one and all in a far more risqué avtar over the internet. One wonders how do the Bhatts presume that her big screen venture would be as enticing where people would want to 'pay' for a dekko of Sunny when her downloads are easily available.
"What else then explains lakhs of hits that the promos and songs have already fetched already? Audience is still curious about Sunny despite seeing her in hardcore videos. That's human psychology coming into play and that's the reason why she is catching everyone's attention. Also, it says a lot about the film as a whole because people are not stupid to pay money for watching something that they can do free of charge on their computers", says Pooja Bhatt.
While to feature her videos online are understandable, don't Bhatts think that audience may feel a tad cheated once they watch her in reasonable clothing on the big screen? After all, porn can't be played on the big screen and there is bound to be a curb on the explicit content, courtesy the film going through the Censor board scanner.
"When you adhere to the Indian censor board guidelines, you can never ever go to the extent of bringing on sexual titillation which is already available online for the consumer. It is impossible to get that kind of imagery. So what do you do? You make a cocktail where you have someone like Sunny along with a definite story and a narrative as well", details the senior Bhatt, "This means that while we have an adult movie actress as one of the important components of the film, she is after all a part of it and not a whole."
Well, we would like to see what does this Cocktail have to offer eventually once the film hits the screens on 3rd August.
