Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez recently proved that apart from being good-looking, she has a tough side to her too. It seems that Jackie, as she is popularly known, went ahead with shooting for a scene for Race 2 despite a torn ligament in her leg!
Sources claim that the actress was supposed to shoot for a dance sequence and during the shoot, when she was jumping on a trampoline, she ended up injuring her ankle. When a doctor was summoned, it was discovered that she had suffered a torn ligament, which would require a couple of weeks to recover. However, thorough professional that she is, Jackie insisted on going ahead with the shoot as she did not want to jeopardise the schedules of senior actors like Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone.
Jacqueline was last seen in Sajid Khan's laugh riot Housefull 2, which became a major hit due to its humour and songs.

The Allah duhai song in Abbas-Mustan directed thriller Race was a major hit and fans of the film and the song as well will be pleased to know that the sequel Race 2 will be retaining the song, albeit with a few changes.
Producer Ramesh Taurani recently confirmed that they have decided to retain a remixed version of the song in the sequel, which stars Anil Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, Bipasha Basu and Ameesha Patel.
Sources claim that the song, which has been composed by Pritam, has been shot in a Broadway style. Taurani was also quoted saying in a recent interview that Race 2 will be bigger and better than its prequel.

Much had been reported about the issue between actress Deepika Padukone and producer Ramesh Taurani a few months back after the former had walked out of Race 2 following some date issues and Taurani was also supposed to have filed a complaint against her with the CINTAA (Cine and TV Artistes' Association).
However, now that Dippy, as she is fondly known, is back in the film, Taurani couldn't stop gushing about her at a recent interview. The producer cleared the air about the issues that had sprung up between him and actress Deepika Padukone and said, "Though there were certain misunderstandings between us as regards date issues, we discussed them amicably and the issues have been cleared out now. We just shot for a segment of the film in Turkey and everything was fine. I also took back my complaint with the Association the day issues got resolved between us two"
Taurani also gushed about Deepika's professionalism and talent as an actress and said that Race 2 would be ten times more grand and entertaining than the prequel.
