
Shakun Batra, who made his directorial debut with Karan Johar's production Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, is all set to make a drama film next.
He had started out as an assistant director in film such as Rock On!!, Jaane Tu..Ya Jaane Na, and finally went on to helm the Imran Khan-Kareena Kapoor starrer.
Shakun confirmed that he has a three film contract with Dharma Productions and that he is toying with a few ideas for his next.
He revealed that his next will not be an out-an-out romantic comedy film and that all his ideas have a dramatic element. However, Shakun clarified that he is not going to make a heavy dose film, with social issues.
He added that the scripting will take 6-8 months and that it will begin next year.
