Chal Pichchur Banate Hain Music Review

Chal Pichchur Banate Hain is an unheard movie that has not been publicized and marketed well. However, theme of the movie is interesting and very close to Bollywood filmmakers. Movie is produced by Twilight Entertainment and is directed by debutant Pritish Chakraborty. Keeping the theme in mind one would require good music to represent Bollywood and its many emotions. There are five songs in the album and while the film has all new faces, even music is composed by upcoming Gaurav Dagaonkar whose Kaafirana [Joker] is currently doing well.

Album begins with a track titled Copy Paste. As the title suggests, it's a fun filled song by Kailash Kher. The number portrays the emotions and the theme of the movie very simply and effectively. Pritish Ckakraborty along with Anurag Bhomia has written lyrics which are sarcastic and a spoof on piracy. It's an appropriate opening for the album though one does feel that it could have been a little more effective with some variations.

Next track It's Time continues the fun mood. It's a situation-based track in the movie which should carry the story forward. Pritish and Gaurav have written lyrics and done a good job by seizing the requirement and emotions appropriately. Suraj Jagan as the vocalist and has given his trademark touch which goes with the spirit of the song.

Javed Ali and Shreya Ghoshal take the album forward with Bas Tu Hi. It's a romantic track written by Seema Saini. Javed Ali with Shreya are the chosen ones here but overall the song turns out to be just average with very little for the listener to remember it for.

Main Gaa Loon Zara is sung by composer Gaurav Dagaonkar himself. It's a male solo with guitar as a base. Arunima Bhattachrya has written the lyrics and she has captured the essence and the requirement nicely. It's a free spirited happy song which, if picturised well, can become the one to look forward to in the movie.

Bawaran Mann is a soft melodious romantic track sung by Shaan and Sunidhi Chauhan. Both of them have done justice to the song which is a potential success in the making if promoted well. Seema Saini's lyrics suit the mood of the song and accentuate the overall impact.

For an unknown movie with no star cast, the music has to be really powerful to make an impact. Chal Pichchur Banate Hain loses on that count though there are some sparks in the album, case in point being Bawaran Mann. However on the whole, the album turns out to be just about decent affair though a chartbuster or two could have helped the cause.
