Salman Khan got punched over 25 times, for a scene in the much-awaited film Ek Tha Tiger, by a newcomer. Punjabi actor Gavie Chahal, who is acting in his first Hindi film, was required to punch Salman in the ribs for a fight scene in the film.
Although Gavie was nervous, he stated that Salman really encouraged him and made him practice. He adds that he is really thankful to the star for helping him and being patient during the shoot.
Gavie Chahal feels Ek Tha Tiger will be the perfect project for him to make an entry into the Hindi film industry. A known face in Punjabi films and music, Chahal has acted in films such as Yaaran Naal Baharaan and Mehndi Wale Hath.
Chahal has also appeared in Hindi television serials such as Mohe Rang De and Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein.
Let's hope his punches pay off!
Ek Tha Tiger, directed by Kabir Khan and starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, releases on August 15.
