Intense actor Ajay Devgn, who was last seen playing a rustic pehelwan in Rohit Shetty's laugh riot Bol Bachchan, is gearing up to step into 'Jumpin' Jack' Jeetendra's shoes with the remake of Himmatwala and the first look of the Sajid Khan helmed flick was unveiled today.
The first look, which is in three parts, shows a grim Ajay Devgn looking quite macho in a leather jacket and holding a pair of temple bells while a tiger stands behind him. The next poster shows South actress Tamannaah Bhatia in a very 'Catwoman' like pose, holding a coiled whip in her hand whereas the third poster shows Devgn and Tamannaah striking a romantic pose with background dancers holding pots (like in the naino mein sapna song from the original Himmatwala) standing behind them.
Directed by Telugu filmmaker K. Raghvedra, the Jeetendra and Sridevi starrer Himmatwala, which released in 1983 was a super hit film.
