Randeep Hooda's Character In 'Heroine' Inspired By Cricketer Imran Khan

Actor Randeep Hooda, who is enacting the role of a cricketer in Madhur Bhandarkar's upcoming film Heroine opposite Kareena Kapoor, has taken a lot of inspiration from the Pakistani cricketer Imran Khan. During the 80s, Imran was known for his reported link ups.

According to a source, Randeep has been portrayed as a charming cricketer, who has an affair with a popular actress, played by Kareena. Although the character is based on Imran Khan, it has not been suggested that he is the captain of the Pakistan cricket team.

There have been reports in the recent past that Randeep had been taking a lot of cues from the Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag for his role in the film.

He also went to watch him play during the last India-West Indies cricket match with Naseeruddin Shah.

Heroine, starring Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Randeep Hooda, is set to release on September 14.
