It is a well-known fact that producers of a film indulge in various publicity gimmicks to grab eyeballs as the release date of the film draws nearer but this one takes the cake for sure! It seems that UTV-Disney, who are producing sci-fi film Joker, are planning to screen the movie for astronaut Sunita Williams in space!
Buzz has it that the producers of the movie, which stars Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha, are in talks with the prestigious NASA (National Aeronautics And Space Administration) to see if they can arrange a screening of the film for Williams at a space station 230 miles above the Earth! Sunita Williams is currently on her second space expedition, accompanied by a Russian cosmonaut Yuri Malenchenko and Japanese astronaut Aki Hoshide.
Directed by Shirish Kunder, Joker is slated to release on August 31 this year.
