Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer Ek Tha Tiger, which released on August 15, was one of the most anticipated films this year and banking on the Eid-Salman factor, multiplexes across the nation had decided to hike the prices of the ticket so as to cash in on the movie's popularity.
However, it seems that this decision has not gone down well with YRF patriarch Yash Chopra. Sources claim that the veteran filmmaker recently shot off a letter through his production house to multiplexes, asking them to slash the prices immediately, as Chopra felt that the hike was unfair to the average movie-goer.
However, it seems that multiplex owners are unwilling to bend and are claiming that a price slash is unlikely, atleast in a metropolitan city like Mumbai. Well well…let's see who wins this tug of war, eh?
