A few weeks ago, there had been news in the media that the television unit of Shah Rukh Khan's company Red Chillies, which made shows like Parindey and Tere Mere Beach Mein, has shut shop due to certain issues.
However, the King Khan recently claimed that nothing could be further from the truth. Khan did admit that he might outsource the work of Red Chillies Idiot Box, but that the unit has not shut down but is merely on hold. Khan also revealed that he plans to focus on the VFX wing and film production so they might not make new shows through the television unit.
Shah Rukh Khan will be next seen making a comeback to his romantic persona with Yash Chopra's Untitled love story, which also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. The film, which is one of the most highly anticipated films this year, is slated to release during Diwali 2012.
