Salman Khan and director Subhash Ghai had teamed up for Yuvvraaj a few years back and the failure of the movie seems to have left a bitter taste in the former's mouth.
It seems that Salman, who had invited many celebrities, including Subhash Ghai, to his residence for an Eid bash a few days back, had a conversation with the 'Showman', which left the latter disappointed. Sources claim that at the bash, Ghai narrated a story to Salman and expressed his desire that the 'Tiger' play the male lead in the flick, which is supposed to be a romance.
