Ranbir Kapoor's last film Rockstar was a major hit, mainly because of the music composed by AR Rahman, which became quite the rage amongst the youth. However, the Kapoor crown prince recently declared that the music of his upcoming Barfi! is better than that of Rockstar!
Sources claim that Kapoor was constantly involved during the making of the music of the film and was so impressed with Pritam for his composition that he sent a text message to Pritam, saying that the music of Barfi! is better than that of the Imtiaz Ali directed Rockstar.
Ranbir will be seen playing the role of a deaf-mute young man named Murphy in the Anurag Basu directed Barfi!, which also stars Ileana D'Cruz and Priyanka Chopra, who will be seen playing an autistic girl.
