It had been reported a day ago that city mayor Sunil Prabhu wrote to the BEST administration asking them to remove posters of erotic thriller Jism 2 from BEST buses and bus-stops as they were 'objectionable' and 'obscene'.
Reportedly, this decision has not gone down well with filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, whose daughter Pooja Bhatt has directed the film and the veteran Bhatt lashed out at the administration by claiming that politicians and people in public offices want to gain publicity from such issues and that they start their moral policing campaign a couple of days before the release of the film.
Jism 2, which releases today, stars adult entertainment star Sunny Leone, Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh in lead roles.
