John Abraham is known for being one of the fittest actors in Bollywood, who is also said to be a teetotaler. However, the fitness freak actor had to break a few rules for his upcoming flick Shootout At Wadala.

John recently admitted in an interview that though he does not smoke or drink and is quite health conscious, he had to give in for his role as Manya Surve in Shootout At Wadala. Abraham also added that doing this helped him get his act right.

Directed by Sanjay Gupta, Shootout At Wadala also stars Anil Kapoor, Manoj Bajpayee, Sonu Sood and Tusshar Kapoor. The film, which is slated to release on May Day next year, dramatizes the first ever recorded encounter in the history of the Mumbai Police, in which dreaded gangster Manya Surve was shot dead near a college in Wadala, where he had gone to meet his girlfriend.
