Director Rohit Shetty is known for his penchant for over the top action sequences, complete with gravity defying fight scenes and somersaulting vehicles and now, it seems that the Bol Bachchan director will be roped in to design the action scenes for Akshay Kumar's upcoming flick Khiladi 786.
The son of fight master M.B Shetty, who was well known for action sequences in films in the 70s, Rohit has reportedly agreed to come to the aid of his assistant Aashish R Mohan, who makes his directorial debut with Khiladi 786. However, the makers are yet to take a call on whether Shetty will just design the action scenes or execute it too.
Co-produced by Akshay Kumar and Himesh Reshammiya, Khiladi 786 marks the return of Akki, as he is popularly known, to the 'Khiladi' series after a period of 12 years. Rohit Shetty, whose last film Bol Bachchan earned rave reviews, will also be working on Chennai Express with Shah Rukh Khan and Singham 2 with Ajay Devgn.
