
Abhay Deol is overjoyed after being appreciated for his role of an IAS officer in the Dibakar Banerjee film Shanghai.
It is not the critical acclaim that he is excited about. Deol is more excited about the public response to the film. Abhay feels that he enjoyed acting in the film and it showed on the screen.
He was happy that his effort was appreciated, in particular his Tamilian accent. Even a few of his Tamilian friends and fans had called up to congratulate him for the role. Abhay Deol was proud that he got it right with the accent.
