Khan was quoted saying that he did not receive any legal notice from Portman and that he later clarified his statement about working with Portman only because the speculations were getting out of hand and not because of any notice sent to him.
Saif also added that he had made the joke about working with Portman because he was irritated with the media constantly questioning him about his future projects and wanted to play a prank on them.

It's rarely that you see somebody like that," said the 31-year-old star.
"Arunoday is a goofball, we would have so much fun on the sets and laugh and play and then be very serious for the scenes and as soon as it was over and Pooja was happy with that cut, we used to give each other a high-five (laughs)," said Sunny, about Singh.

When an adult star says that 'too much sex can be bad', it may come as a surprise for quite a few and Sunny Leone can be seen saying this, in her latest advertisement for PETA. In her latest ad campaign for PETA, Sunny is seen advocating sterilization of pets. The Indo-Canadian porn star can be seen winking seductively in the ad, whioch asks the public to sterelise their cats and dogs.
Through the ad Leone wants people to know that the only way to control homeless animal crisis is by getting their pets spayed or neutered. "I believe in not buying, and adopting. And it's because there are so many dogs out there that need a home, that can't find a home, that were abused, that were left on the streets. They just need that love, and if you can rescue an animal, then that's the greatest gift you can give," said Leone, in an exclusive interview to PETA.
"I believe that every single dog should be spayed and neutered. You don't want to continue the cycle of homeless dogs or cats. And spaying and neutering also keeps them healthy. It prevents them from having different diseases that they can get if they are not," she further added.
Meanwhile Sunny is also gearing up for the release of her Bollwood debut Jism 2, which will hit the theaters this weekend.

Kareena Kapoor, who is gearing up for the release of her forthcoming film Heroine, has reportedly taken jibes at Katrina Kaif in her upcoming movie.
If sources are to be believed then there is a scene in Madhur Bhandarkar's next, where Kareena will be seen speaking to a journalist about another actress. Reportedly, Kareena has made a comment on the actress (in the movie), that she is a success only because of her boyfriend, who himself is a big star.
Buzz has it that this is aimed at Kaif, who's been linked to Salman Khan in the past. The implication becomes more apparent as Kapoor further asks the journalist to check the actresses' passport to know her real name and nationality.
Mediavines suggest that the girl who plays the part of the actress, also bears resemblance to Katrina. We wonder what Salman and Katrina have to say on this.

It is no secret that acclaimed director Anurag Kashyap was miffed with Salman Khan after Dabangg director Abhinav Kashyap walked out of the sequel to the Salman starrer blockbuster and now it seems that Anurag has come up with an innovative idea to take potshots at the Bollywood brat by spoofing him through a character in his upcoming Gangs of Wasseypur II.
Sources claim that one of the characters named Definite in the gangland epic is a spoof on Salman as the character, played by Zeeshan Quadri, sports a hairstyle similar to that of Khan in Tere Naam and also spouts dialogues from Salman's hit film Maine Pyaar Kiya in the movie.
After Gangs Of Wasseypur dealt with the life of Sardar Khan (played by Manoj Bajpayee), the sequel will revolve around the life of Sardar's son Faisal Khan, played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The film is slated to release on August 8 this year.

A few days back, actor Saif Ali Khan had reportedly revealed in an interview that he will be working with Black Swan actress Natalie Portman in a romantic comedy soon and needless to say, the news went viral, with every industry insider adding to the speculations. However, a few days later, Khan again revealed that he had just been joking about it and having fun at the expense of the journalist.
Now, it seems that this joke on the Nawab's part has failed to amuse Portman and it is being said that her representatives issued a legal notice to the actor to ensure that a clarification of his statement was carried out. However, Saif did conveniently forget to mention the legal notice when clarifying his stance on the weekend.
The actor had also landed in trouble a few months back when he allegedly assaulted a fellow diner at a plush South Mumbai restaurant after the latter objected to the din that Saif and his party were making during dinner.

Adult entertainment star Sunny Leone, who landed in Mumbai on the weekend for the promotions of her upcoming film Jism 2, seemed quite excited to be in India once again and was very flattered at all the attention that she received after she landed.
However, Leone, who has been in the eye of a media storm ever since the trailers of Jism 2 went viral, said quite modestly, "I know that I have been the centre of attention but my Jism 2 co-stars and also my director Pooja Bhatt deserve equal attention because they have done a great job with the film." She also went on to say that she is quite new to the film industry but is determined to work hard and do good work.

As predicted in this column last week, Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum embarked on a very good start with the first day average occupancy in the range of 60%-70%. This was pretty much as per the script because intense marketing and promotion for over six months had ensured that the Ekta Kapoor production would have some healthy numbers to show.
What came as an icing on the cake was the fact that the collection stayed on to be quite stable over the weekdays as well. Now this was most crucial for this adult comedy since hype would have ensured a healthy first day but poor of word of mouth could have resulted in a sudden crash as well. Fortunately for the film, this didn't quite happen and even though the reviews were mostly negative, the makers hardly complained since they had
practically asked for it from the time their promotional campaign had kick-started.
All of this means that the film managed over 22 crores for itself in the first weekend which is a huge number by all means and also one of the best this year. In fact it is better than the likes of Teri Meri Kahaani (Shahid Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra) and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu (Kareena Kapoor, Imran Khan) which were obviously far bigger projects and also more expensive. Moreover, while both these films were extensively shot in foreign
locations, Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum was an entirely 'desi' film with Goa as the most exotic location it could think of visiting.
The way Kyaa Super Kool Hai Hum has found good patronage coming from the youth, it is now a given (as hinted last week itself) that 40 crores would be comfortably crossed. However the challenge now is to come close to the 50 crore mark. With Jism 2 and Gangs of Wasseypur II as limited competition before Ek Tha Tiger arrives with all it's fury, all eyes would now be on Riteish Deshmukh and Tusshar Kapoor to de some 'macho' impression over the weekdays as well.

Expect Saif Ali Khan to bring on humour off the screen as well. Just when one thought that the actor was taking his lover boy image to the West as well, what with a film with none less than Natalie Portman being on the cards, here is the latest. The 'news' was nothing but a joke from Saif who chose to crack it after finding himself in the middle of all the speculations, assumptions and rumours.
The fact that he was obviously 'high' (no pun intended) on Cocktail further made him loosen up all the more that made him 'reveal' this 'information' which was nothing but his way to 'entertain' himself for a change.
"Saif is plain amused to see so much being said and written about his personal life as well as certain career decisions. Right from being married off to Kareena every second month to the newer dates being announced to the questions coming his way about playing a lover boy to actually getting some of the biggest successes whenever he has wooed his girls on screen, Saif is finding himself in the thick of things. It was one such moment when a journalist asked him about his future plans and Saif decided to have some fun", says a close associate of the actor.
It was then when instead of coming with the denials or evasive answers, he built up a story around a film with Natalie. After all, he pretty much knew that a quote stated by him in jest would actually make headlines and to some extent, this was also his own way to have some good time while being on the other side of the table.
"He was obviously grinning from ear to ear when everyone picked the news about Natalie and there was a new round of speculations that started making the rounds. The biggest question was around how did he actually make this Bollywood-Hollywood collaboration happen, especially when so many other actors are said to be planning it without fail for years", the associate continues, "Saif's phone was ringing day in and night out for the last couple of days but he chose to keep mum as this time around the amusement level took a different proportion."
However, Saif has now decided to break his silence otherwise the entire weekend would have gone into further media overdrive about the film, something that he felt was avoidable.
"It was a joke, I am sorry", smiles Saif, "It's just that I am very annoyed with speculations on all the aspects of my life. If this goes on, I might just start making up stories like these to entertain myself. Hope people will understand that."
Wishful thinking, shall we say?

Buzz has it that director Tarun Mansukhani, who had helmed Dostana and was supposed to direct the sequel as well, has been asked to leave Dharma Productions by head honcho Karan Johar. The reason- Johar reportedly found out that Tarun had been approaching other producers for Dostana sequel as he was getting impatient to start work on the project.
Sources claim that the sequel to the film had been on the backburner since the past many years and Tarun was allegedly not happy with the way Johar was promoting new talent like Shakun Batra, Karan Malhotra and Ayan Mukerji instead of focusing on the sequel, which made him approach other producers.
Dharma sources claim that with this development, they are not yet sure about whether KJo will go ahead with the sequel project without Tarun or shelve. While Priyanka Chopra gets ready for the release of her Barfi!, there are old skeletons coming out of her cupboard. One of her long delayed films has gone for a title change and is now arriving as Deewana Main Deewana. The film stars, hold your breath, Govinda in the lead. Incidentally, this is the fourth title change for this near-decade old film.
"Yes, the film was earlier titled Ek Hasina Ek Deewana. After that it was called Bekasoor. Then a couple of years back it came quite close to release with the title Don't Worry. Now when the makers are actually serious about releasing it and have also released a few songs on the music channels, it is with a new name Deewana Main Deewana'", informs our source.
This is a film that Priyanka had signed when Govinda was a reigning star and she was fresh out of her Miss World stint. While she had signed The Hero and Andaaz with other two superstars Sunny Deol and Akshay Kumar respectively, even Govinda was in her wish-list. This is when director K.C. Bokadia approached her for Ek Hasina Ek Deewana and PC was game for it.
"Of course the film wasn't the grandest of setups for Priyanka but guess she may have found the unusual pairing to be exciting enough", comments an observer, "Govinda too was hunting for a new pairing post Karisma Kapoor and together they must have felt that a masala fare like this would fetch them a safe outing and also pave way for a new jodi."
However, as luck would have had it, the film was completed but never saw the light of the day. Now even though the makers feel that it may be a good idea to finally unleash the film, we doubt if either Priyanka or Govinda would indeed be willing to reveal much about it.

Newbie actors Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra, who were seen romantically paired opposite each other as Parma Chauhan and Zoya Qureshi in Ishaqzaade, recently interacted with the students of Subhash Ghai's Whistling Woods Institute alongwith their director Habib Faisal.
The event was conducted to welcome the fresh class of 2012, who shall begin their classes in July. Talking about the ideation of script and the choosing of actors for a particular role, Faisal said, "Every script is a process of discovery where you start with a germ. Ishaqzaade began with two very raw characters in a small town. In the process of developing, they became two characters of rival political families. I see how well trained is the candidate as an actor, and if they have gone through similar situations in real life to have the capacity to understand the intricacies of the characters in the story and then the physicality."
On his part, Arjun Kapoor said, "Being part of a film family and someone who has grown up in the city, I had to work very hard to play this character of Parma. Habib sir took us to Lucknow to understand & take in the culture there. I worked on my character with Habib sir for six months before shooting. I am glad that finally all the hard work has been appreciated."

Sources claim that following wife Kalki Koechlin's suggestions, Anurag is planning to come up with a Broadway style musical based on the two parts of Gangs Of Wasseypur. It seems that Kalki, who is quite active in theatre, felt that the storyline of the two films would be perfect for a musical and the Shaitan actress might not only help with the creatives, but also work in the musical.
The second part of Gangs Of Wasseypur, which deals with the rise to power of Faisal Khan (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) is slated to release on August 8 this year.

Aalaap Movie Review In Brief
Four young men try to address the issue of Naxalism through music
Aalaap Movie Review Verdict
Despite an impressive star cast, the movie fails to touch any chords…
Aalaap Movie Review Story Plot
Rahul (Amit Purohit) is a youth icon in Chattisgarh for his cultural activities as a college student being groomed by Bhaiyyaji (Vijay Raaz) for better things whereas Pitobash Tripathy, Harsh Rajput and Aabid Shamim are rebellious youngsters, who forma rock band. When Rahul meets the trio and convinces them to team up with him for a state wide cultural function, all four form develop a deep bond. However, their lives get affected when they see an army truck being blown up by Naxals and when they realise that the government measures are ineffective, they decide to use their music to bring love and peace to the conflict torn region.
How the quartet gets embroiled in the battle lines drawn by anti-Naxal cop RP Singh (Abhimanyu Singh), Naxal leader Gopal Reddy (Murli Sharma) and Naxal sympathizing doctor Bharti (Rituparna Sengupta) forms the rest of the story…
Aalaap Movie Review Performances
The movie truly has an impressive supporting cast in the form of Murli Sharma, Vijay Raaz, Raghubir Yadav, Omkardas Manikpuri and Abhimanyu Singh and they do full justice to their roles, despite having hurdles in the form of a weak script and poor dialogues. The main cast comprising Purohit, Rajput, Pitobash and Shamim too perform passably though Purohit's Rahul comes across as too 'goody-goody' and the other three seem to be rebels without a cause, whose anti-Establishment attitude is not really explored efficiently.
Aalaap Movie Review Direction
Though the concept of a rock band trying to bring peace in a volatile environment is quite interesting; the execution part prevents this movie from being a laudable effort. At times, the director seems confused about whether he is making a musical film or a film on the Naxal issue. Moreover, why would four youngsters, who are apparently born and brought up in violent Chattisgarh, suddenly get affected and traumatized by one single incident, is something that is not explained clearly. The script and screenplay is not up to the mark and nor is the cinematography and other technical aspects.
Aalaap Movie Review Music
The music by band Agnee is not so bad as such with songs like dil yeh awaaz de, pa pa ra pa and ek nayi roshni though the one item number 'chadhti jawani' is sure to evoke a cynical smile (why does every director want an item number, without regards to the plot and theme of the movie, is what you will probably end up wondering)
Aalaap Movie Review Final Word
Like mentioned earlier, the film has an impressive star cast but all in all, the movie is not as impressive as one would want it to be…

Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum Review In Brief
Two losers go to Goa to change their fortune and get more than what they bargained for…
Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum Review Verdict
Full of bawdy humour and double-entrende jokes, this movie is definitely not for prudes.
Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum Review Story Plot
Adi (Tusshar Kapoor), a struggling actor and Sid (Riteish Deshmukh) a DJ, are two room-mates who want to make it big in life. Adi believes in astrology and when he is told that his fortune would change after he meets his soulmate, a girl whose name begins with the letter 'S', the naive Adi starts believing it. His beliefs get reinforced when he comes across Simran Kapoor (Neha Sharma), a call centre employee, who seems to be lucky for the struggler. Meanwhile, Sid, who earns extra bucks by letting his horny pug breed with female canines, falls for Anu (Sarah Jane Dias), a model and the daughter of a Goan billionaire Marlow (Anupam Kher). The two young men follow the girls to Goa to recover a diamond belonging to Sid that Adi had gifted to Simran and how this leads to a roller-coaster ride of laughter is something that should be enjoyed with a bucket of pop-corn.
Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum Review Performances
Though this reviewer is not a big fan of Tusshar Kapoor, it must be said that the Balaji boy matches Riteish Deshmukh when it comes to comic timing in this flick. Both the 'Kool' actors are sure to make you start laughing helplessly from the first scene onwards. Deshmukh is as good as usual in comic roles and his character's habit of inserting Marathi words and phrases (something that he uses in almost all his comedy films like Housefull 2) between Hindi dialogues adds to the humour element. Neha Sharma and Sarah Jane Dias do not get to do much though the glam quotient of the movie is definitely taken care of. Anupam Kher and Chunky Pandey do tend to ham at times but then, audiences would be too busy laughing at the antics of Deshmukh and Kapoor to hold any grudge against Pandey and Kher.
Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum Review Direction
If the prequel, directed by Sangeeth Sivan was a hit, director Sachin Yardi ensures that the sequel is no less when it comes to humour. Like mentioned earlier, the movie is full of crass humour, ribald jokes and nasty humour aimed at everyone from homosexuals to canines to other movies and stars. What's admirable about the movie is that it is unapologetic to the core and right there in your face. Prudes might for sure wrinkle their collective noses at the 'Kool' brand of humour, but then….the movie is not meant to be watched by them at all! However, on the flip side, the second half of the movie seems a bit stretched and some of the jokes are the types which we had heard in school. Moreover, the Chunky Pandey-Anupam Kher scenes are not as funny and the makers had hoped it would be
Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum Review Music
The songs shirt da button and dil garden garden ho gaya have been hits even before the movie released and the music of the film is sure to set you tapping your feet.
Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum Final Word
Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum is as 'Dirty' as it gets but except for a few flaws, this Balaji product is a thoroughly enjoyable watch!
